We, at MED-X, are registered CPR instructors with the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa and American Heart Association as well as also registered Nursing Sisters and Intensive Care Nursing sisters, in a busy Trauma Intensive Care Unit and our courses do earn CPD points with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Buying Time
We have first hand experience in the necessity of ‘buying the victim time’ prior to admission to the hospital. Emergencies all require immediate and appropriate action and our courses are recommended for not only Medical and related staff profession but also for the general public i.e. Parents, Domestic Staff, Au Pairs, Teachers and Assistants, Aftercare Staff, Child Minders, Care Givers, Grandparents and/or persons dealing with children within the work environment or on a daily basis, Personal trainers/Gym Instructors, Paramedical staff, Coaches, Sport Enthusiasts etc. with either limited or no medical training
Flexible
No prior knowledge/training required.
We service the Gauteng area and surrounds.
Training at your venue at a convenient time, Mondays – Friday as well as on a Saturday for those unable to get time off work.

All our courses are run in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa and American Heart Association
When
Courses are run during the week, week-ends and also after hours. There is however, a minimum requirement of 6 participants per course

The courses attended by medical staff, teachers, personal trainers, au pairs etc. are classified as career orientated/educational courses as they are generally a job requirement.
Need
The courses attended by parents, childminders etc. are classified as an educational/skills courses as they are doing them out of interest or to further equip themselves to deal with families, loved-ones
